Question about ATI Computers & Internet
I Have an ATI Radeon X1300/1550 series graphics card, i purchased it about a year and a half ago, when i try to play games the game starts and then after a few minutes, the video goes to black screen, and the computer is unresponsive, i think I'm having heat issues, but not sure, i'v tried all kinds of things, do u have any suggestions on what to do to solve this issue, or even if its solvable?
My suggestion would be to take the video card out and clean the heatsink off really good, then go to your local pc shop and get some thermal paste (shouldnt cost anymore than $4) take the heatsink off the video card and apply a liberal amount to the gpu spread it thin and evenly, once your done your video card should run alot colder than it did when new as the thermal paste they use deteriorates fairly quicky

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
