3623A - does this help?  No where on the install guide nor CD does it state the exact model #.

Thank you for that information.
Using the working computer or the computer that has Internet connectivity through the router, launch Internet explorer. On the address field of your IE type In the menu, go to wireless section and click on Security. There you will find the wireless security enabled in your Dynex router.

NOTE: When you access and it asks for a password, type the password that you remembering setting up with when you first run the setup cd. Otherwise, just leave it blank.

Hope this helps!

That is the wireless security key or network key configured in the wireless settings of the router. Can you tell me the exact model number of the router you have?

Just installed roku. How do I find password for Home_B698

You will need to login to your wireless router on your computer to get, or set, your network password for "Home_B698". A typical default router IP address is, but there can be any number of possibilities depending on router type, and network configuration, and who set it up... Some routers will put their default IP Address, and password on a sticker, located somewhere on the router. If this is the case, type the default IP Address into a browser on your computer, and hit enter, or return. A web page should appear asking for login information... User name, and password. Again this information varies... Typically the default user name is "Admin" or "admin" you can also try leaving this field blank, and just entering the password found on the router. In some cases the password is actually "admin" while leaving the user name blank.
If your successful at loging-in, you need to look at your wireless settings, under one of the sub-tabs you should find a password field indicating your network password. This is what should allow you to login to your network with your Roku device.

I cannot reset my password

Im presuming its your internet connection password ?

Your Internet service provider (ISP) requires a username and password to access service features, including Internet and email.

Your ISP should provide this information when you set up your Internet service.

Typically, once you complete the setup and save the information, your router or modem transmits it behind the scenes when you try to access the Internet.

As a result, the username and password can be easily forgotten because they are not used daily.

If you reset your router or simply forget the password, gaining access to network resources and the Internet becomes a challenge.

Call your ISP's technical support department.

Many ISPs set a default username and password for their routers.

If you didn't change the username and password, your ISP can provide the original information.

Before you hang up, make sure the information is correct by entering it and trying to connect to the Internet.

If the information is incorrect and you still cannot get a connection, keep the information for later reference.

Call your router's manufacturer.

The manufacturer of your router sets a username and password prior to shipping the device to your ISP.

Look at the router for the contact information of the manufacturer.

Call their customer service or technical support department and ask for the default information.

Reset your router.

If you changed your router's username and password and cannot remember what you entered, you may have to reset the router.

Insert the resource CD into your computer's CD drive.

When the software installation program starts, search the screen for "Resources" or "Documentation" or "User Manual."

Click the documentation link and search the table of contents for resetting the router.

When you reset the router, the username and password return to the default set by your ISP or manufacturer.

Enter the information provided by your ISP or manufacturer.

Hope this helps.

Default admin password

  1. Enter your user name. If you didn't change the user name during installation, enter admin in theUser Name field. [Show Me]

  2. Enter the password you entered during installation and click OK. Additional characters will appear to be inserted as you enter your password. This is designed to hide the number of characters in your password.

    • Note: If you didn't change the default password when you set up your router, it may have been changed to your router's serial number to provide greater security. You can find your router's serial number on a label affixed to the bottom or back of your router.
    • Note: If you can't remember your user name or password, you must reset your Verizon MI424WR router to the default settings and reconfigure your home network.

Where is the WEP/WPA code on a Netgear router

The WEP / WPA security information can be obtained by accessing your Netgear router setup page. You'll need the router's IP address to access the setup page. From your computer, go to Start > Run > type "cmd" (w/o the quotes), hit Enter > DOS black screen appears, type "ipconfig" (w/o the quotes), hit Enter. Take note of the Default Gateway IP address - that is your router's IP address.
Pull up a browser and enter the IP address in the address bar, hit Enter. You will then be asked for your router's Username and Password, enter the required information. If you don't know the info, please contact your router manufacturer for assistance. Once you're in the router setup page, go to the wireless security settings to check the WEP or WPA code.
Should you still need further assistance on this matter, please contact your router manufacturer.
I hope this helps.

Need password for our router

Go to the start menu, choose run, type in cmd and hit enter. Now type ipconfig into the prompt and hit enter. Find the number next to Default Gateway and enter this into the address bar of your internet browser. This takes you to the main page of your router. Each router is different but there should be a section called something like Network Security or Network Protection. There you should find the WEP key or whatever protection you are using for your wireless network

If you're looking for the password to get into your main router page, the default is usually either blank, password, password1, or the serial number of your router. If none of these work, you will have to call your ISP and have them reset your password.

The code is the password for permission to use the wireless network... the code is in the routers utility program-- if you forget or lost it .. follow these steps

Open INTERNET EXPLORER and. (In the URL address field), enter the IP address for your wireless router ( the DEFAULT GATEWAY. This information should be contained in your router's manual. If you cannot find it, enter "" as the address. This is usually the default IP address for most not type "www" just the number
Enter the username and password for your router. This should also be supplied in the router's manual. If you don't have this information, go to and find the brand and model of your router. This site lists the default login information for most wireless routers you can try "ADMIN" for user name and "PASSWORD" for passsword.
You should now be able to see your wireless router settings. You can configure your network ports, as well as SSID (wireless network name) and passwords.

Please keep in mind that all issues are unique, and to have it answered 100% in a short paragraph
without any feedback is challenging. So if you continue to have problems please reply back rather than leaving negative feedback.--Thank-you

How do I find the pin number on my wireless router?

You need to have the ability to get to the internet from a PC to get this information. Whichever machine will connect to the internet, use it and follow these instructions:

1. open a browser (I/E or Firefox)
2. Enter in the url field at the top of the browser
3. Enter your login as admin and password. If you don't know your password it is probably admin.
This should get you to the router settings.
4. Select the Wireless option
5. Select wireless security along the bottom bar of options
6. You should see the WPA Key, that is your security code for a wireless connection.

If there is some other ID you are looking for, send more information as to what the pin number is for?

Securing my network

OK, what you might wanna do is this. Ask the friend who installed the router for you what the home page IP address of the router is. After attaining that information, open up internet explorer (or firefox), and enter that address (usually something like or something like that).

Assuming you're using a linksys wireless router, look for anything that has the word "security" on it. Click on that tab. After that, choose wep encryption option (think the latest one comes with WPA-AES2 option). The page will then prompt you to type in a password. YOU MUST REMEMBER THIS PASSWORD. After that is settled, click on save and exit the page.

Now go to your laptop and try to connect to the router. It should prompt you for a password before connecting. Enter the password (the same one configured earlier) and by right, you should be able to connect to the router. "Ask me" if you face any further issues k? Thanks

Best Regards,

Some routers need power cycle ( reboot ) after any changes on the router settings.
Now make sure that you are getting IP address on the internet part of the router.
When you set up WEP and passphrase , Your actual password for the wireless network will be the number in the key number 1 box and NOT the passphrase.
