Question about Jenn-Air JED8430 Electric Cooktop
Hello, I have a Thermador SGCS365RS 5 burner cooktop that I have purchased. I just found out after hooking it up and Installing it, that it is set for natural Gas. I have LP at the house. When I called Thermador, they told me that they cant help me, because this perticular cooktop is discontinued. Please help. I am either looking for a conversion kit or a way I can convert it over myself. Someone told me that I could sodier the existing jets closed and then redrill them, but they did not know what size of drill bit I should use.
Thank you for your time.
try this link.
do not drill out the jets they will not work properly.
I would check all your documentation you may have the convention kit with your owners manual or it may be attached to the oven.
