Question about Sony Ericsson Z750a Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Message alerts! I have a Sony Ericsson Z750a cell phone. When I receive a text message, I get a message alert. And that's it! It doesn't keep reminding me that I have a message, or a missed call! If I'm running a loud piece of equipment, and don't hear that first alert, that it, I don't receive any more reminders that I have a text or, miss a call! Is there anyway I can fix this? On my old phone it would keep reminding me until I opened my phone!

the message alert and ring for an incoming call are too short and it does not remind that you have missed a text or call - its a real pain!!

How do i set audio track as text alert se c902

Go to phone's menu --> Settings --> Sounds & alerts --> Message alert. In the message alert menu look for the option to set a different ring tone. It may be like "Find sound" or similar. After its selection the phone will ask you to point to the file you want to set as message alert.

Note: the music file should be in .mp3 format and you cannot set more than one track at a time. If you want to use different track for every contact go to Contacts and edit the contact's preference to use a different track.

it seems to be quite a common problem for all W890 owners. Mine has the same problem...........frustrating. Sony Ericsson should provide a recall or free repair through its Agents.
