Go to this link and under Drivers, English select MAC OS X and download the drivers: http://www.xante.com/support/aw3ndn/
Sadly, the application drivers for MAC OS 10.6 are mot supported for this printer.
Try superwarehouse.com
or Xante in Mobile, AL (xante.com)
or some of the paper suppliers that supply commercial and local printers might also carry the toner.
I haven't checked in a while. Xante told me when I called them that they were not planning to make updates past the current version of the 4G OS X drivers, as the machine was no longer in production. They said the driver should perform adequately on current versions of OS X even though it was not initially designed for them (as they did not exist when the driver was created).
I found this to be untrue in my case. The drivers did not allow me to print consistently from 10.5.8 on an Intel Mac Pro.
My solution was to activate the print server on an Xserve running the Tiger server version of OS X, install the Xante driver there (since it was designed to run on that version of the OS), and now my newer macs can use the printer without issue.
Yes. If you need the driver here is the link. Just scroll down to operating system and choose Mac OS X. If this takes care of your problem please rate as fixed. Thanks. http://www.xante.com/support/aw3g/
I'm not 100% sure that this will work. I have a 3N, when we first got it I had the same problem. After clearing the jam - You have to open the top portion of the printer. Even if the jam is no where around that area... the printer won't reset itself until you lift that top piece. I even tried to turn it off, thinking it would reset...it didn't.
I know the 4g is much newer then mine...but being it's the same company.. this problem might be fixed the same way.
