I ran Delonghi because I was getting the error 4 and it couldnt get past that first draining hoping that they could help but they just referred me to a repair man and told me I couldn't fix it.
The repair suggested that i try checking that the outlet pipe at the S bend wasn't clogged and the I try turning it off and on. I had done that by the on/off button but it didnt change.
So then I actually turned it off at the wall left it a few minutes and then turned it back on and voila..it is back to normal. No more error 4 message and it is working now as we speak

Zanussi dishwasher beeps once and end of cycle light flashes

Most likely your dishwasher finds fault.

Appliances without a display will show the alarms by a number of flashes of the LED "end of cycle".

For example: one flash = i10, two flashes = i20
..........and so on

So, count how many times LED "end of cycle" flashes and you will know the error code.

Delonghi Dishwasher

Can you please tell us the exact model of your dishwasher? What you can try initially is unplug the power cable of your unit for about 10 minutes, then plug it back in. See if that clears the error. Will give you follow up about the E1 error.

Ex500isc displays error 20

Have you tried making sure the water entering the machine is very hot by running the attached faucet Mr. Burns?

We had this happen when we turned our water heater down to it's minimum setting and forgot to run the kitchen faucet (supply was also plumbed to the dishwasher) until fully heated up, then switching on the dishwasher.

How to run self test on bosche dishwasher

Here is an excerpt from "Bosch Dishwasher Troublesoooting".

Running a Test Cycle
Bosch dishwashers have a test cycle which can be run as a troubleshooting measure. The method to run this test cycle is similar across the Bosch dishwasher range so if your dishwasher features seems different from those described below then try experimenting, as the process is fairly straight forward and will be very similar. Bosch dishwasher model numbers are usually found around the top or lip of the door. One of the most common differences between dishwasher models is simply the names of the buttons. For example in the first example below, POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH may be called WASH and ECO depending on your dishwasher model and the country you are in. The other key difference is whether your dishwasher has a display panel (which can display error codes) or not (in which case a program light will illuminate to tell you the fault.
To run the test cycle hold down the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons. Whilst held down press the ON/OFF button. The lights above them should flash. Now you can check the status of each dishwasher program by pressing its button. Now you can run the full test cycle = Press the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons again. The dishwasher will start up and when the cycle has ended one, if you have no display panel on your dishwasher model the indicator lights will illuminate if a malfunction was detected as follows -
CLEAN - A temperature sensor fault. If this is the case then the test cycle will be very short as the dishwasher will terminate the test once it's been detected.
RINSE/DRY - A water sensor/filling fault. If this is the problem then the test cycle will not complete as the dishwasher cannot detect the right level of water, the dishwasher will just keep filling and draining again.
WASH - A heating fault. Check your heating element.
If you do have a display panel on your Bosch dishwasher then after the cycle is complete an error code will be shown if a fault has been detected. The error codes are as follows -
0 - No errors have been detected.
1 - A water sensor/filling fault.
2 - A heating fault.
4 - A water filling fault. This can also appear as F on the display during a normal cycle.
8 - A temperature sensor fault.
When troubleshooting your Bosch dishwasher, running the above test cycle is a good start in diagnosing the problem and should give you an idea of where the problem lies with your Bosch dishwasher and what fixes and repair are in order. Our general troubleshooting page will give you some ideas on other things to check on your dishwasher. Good luck!

Hi, We have a fairly new ADP600IX dishwasher. It has stopped mid cycle and is flashing up ERR 4 What does this mean? Many thanks

Error 4 means dishwasher has overfilled with water and is not draining out. This has happened to me twice and I have found turning the dishwasher offf at the powerpoint for at least a week seems to fix the problem.Keep your filter in the bottom of the dishwasher clean.

How to clear a delonghi dishwasher error code 4

Try removing all dish trays and salt softner lid, check if the salt softner compartment is full of water, if so place the machine on its side and allow all the water to drain from the compartment, once this is done your machine should be good to go. This is how i resolved my problem. The salt softner is located next to the water drain filter.

Error codes

Usally this is a bad control board or in some cases, a bad display board. they are fairly easy to replace and should be covered under a 5 year parts warranty (no labor). if its older than 5 years i would advise getting rid of it before putting any real money into it as Eurotechs are affectionatly know as Eurotrash in the industry and it WILL give you more problems. If you need a short dishwasher to fit under some shorter than standard counters, go with an ASKO. They are made by the same parent company, but are 50 times better. Good luck!
