Just tested it out, seems to work. Haven't run virus checker on it, though.

When I plug my GoGear Vibe 16GB into the computer with its USB lead, all I get is a picture of an empty battery. I can't get any charge into it, so it doesn't do anything at all

Hi,

This may be caused by a fault in the GoGear itself - however the first thing to do is try a different USB lead.

If you find that the same thing happens with a different USB lead I would advise you to leave the GoGear plugged in for at least 2 hours befor checking it again. The reason for this is that if the battery is extremely discharged the display will not show correctly on the GoGear exactly like you describe.

You should also connect the new USB lead to a different port on your computer to help rule out any problem with a failed charge from the computer itself.

If the problem remains after this then the unit is faulty and will need service attention.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Phillips gogear play downloads songs but doesnt downloaded song

in philips go gear device it wont show the song or video unless or untill its a compatible one(e.g it wont play real player .flv files) to the player..check whether you can play the song from the device in your computer. if yes try a different youtube converter software.

Save music

All Philips Go Gear prefer specific music players, Like yahoo Jukebox. If your player did not come with a disk, I would suggest downloading the Jukebox player and then pluging in our player.

Yahoo will find your player and sync all your music..
