If the sub has a volume control, turn it down then turn up the volume on the amp to the very high volume you mentioned. If it still has very low muffled sound, then we know the problem is about the amp.

This may sound like a silly check, but verify that the tape monitor switch is not engaged. What is the quality of the sound when turned up? Is the cound clear or raspy?

Its asking your permission to unlock the setup menu. When you hit setup, and it says "unlock," you have to hit one of the navigation arrows on the remote control. Once you have unlocked the menu, you can assign the audio to that HDMI input.

SOURCE: Every time I press any
Turn On unit, select DVD/CD function in unit and Press and Hold STOP and POWER buttons on Unit Front for at least 3 to 4 seconds, Unlock will appear on unit display and unit will work as normal.

The only solution you can do is open the unit, maybe the track rail is jam. If ever you open already the unit push the tray outside and push back inside so it will align again. Hope it will helps. Whatever the result feel free to ask.
