Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I can not get my wirless adapter to turn on
My wireless adapter has disappeared. Is not listed in hardware when I try to force install. I have (2) "wireless assistant" programs running on start( it appears) could that be the problem? Not sure when they appeared after I upgraded with proprietary Vista upgrade provided by HP. but I know just enough to know I don't know how to fix it.<G> I have a dv6140 Pavilion. I tried regrouping by reinstalling the original XP OS but no help there. Adapter is still incommunicado. Anyone have any suggestions? THanks!
