Advice on car stereo repair. (by 2 users)

my sony cdx-m800 face wont close when turned off.its open all the time and the display is totally blank and unusable,im having to use the remote to operate,pressing reset ejects cd but nothing else,when problem first started the display went blank when opened and buttons when pushed did not do there proper job ie..when i pressed volume the cd changed instead of volume increase,now no buttons work at all,face is permanently open and screen is blank,unit will only operate with remote,hope you can help.
