Question about Casio Atomic Timekeeping WV58A 9AV Watch

Casio WV58A-9AV Atomic Watch Signal Symbol

The Atomic signal SYMBOL in the lower right of the watch face on my Casio Atomic watch no. WV58A-9AV, does not always show. Is this because it's not seeking a signal at times and is this normal? How do you get to the part of the watch that allows you to set the city you are in and for setting the manual or automatic update from the atomic clock? Neither is mentioned in the user's manual. When the logo is not shown in the bottom corner, the watch hasn't got a signal yet. put your watch on a window sill, and hold the Forward buton until the watch says GET! Form there, the watch will either display ERROR, if it couldn't find a signal, or will have the latest and most accurate time. The watch is also probably set up for auto detect, which is best. To do auto detect, before going to bed, the watch will try to get a signal from 12 midnight, to 5 in the morning.

Will not receive signal

If you are in the US or Canada the signal is coming from Fort-Collins, Colorado. If you are too far or there are atmospheric perturbations along the way, at the times the watch is in automatic receive , the watch may not receive a strong enough signal to synchronize itself with the atomic clock signal. The watch is not always able to do so.
Read the manual where it is suggested that you put the watch on a window sill, the dial facing outward with 12 at the bottom. Do not move the watch when it is trying to receive a signal. If you have a signal strength meter, orient the watch so that the signal is as high as possible.

Automatic light function.

There is a button below the face of the watch that has the atomic watch symbol on it. Hold this button down until you hear a beep and it will turn that function off. To turn it back on, press & hold the same button until you hear a beep.

HI Certype,

Welcome to the wonderful world of watches (my daily life and I love it).

OK I can assume you know how to take the back off of the watch?
Yes take the small black cover off the top of the battery (its actually a insulator) then with a pair of tweezers and a manifigying glass look for a the letter "AC" on the inside the watch in front of you.

When you see it you'll probably see a little gold point near it, press one end of the tweezer there gently and the other on the top of the battery and hold gently for 5-10 seconds.

Replace battery cover and you should have done the trick and back case screws etc.
