You'll have to try harder. That's a statement, not a question. How about some more information about your problem. Telling us what operating you're using would be a good place to start.

Anyhow, I'll take a shot at it. Update the drivers for your sound card. Turn up the volume. Make sure speakers are plugged in. Make sure the volume is not turned all the way down or muted through software.

My sound went out and now is saying no sound card

This means 1 of 2 things. Either your Sound Card is fried, or the Sound driver is corrupted.

1. First, check that your driver is installed.

Click the start menu and right click on "My Computer" and click "Manage". Select "Device Manager" from the list on the left, Scroll down to "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers". Expand that list, if you have any errors (Yellow Triangles, Red X's) there, you will need to reinstall drivers which can be obtained HERE.

2. Install a new Sound Card in your computer. This will be a PCI-type Card. There are cheap replacements which can be found HERE.

Both my monitors went blank - first they started getting fuzzy then went blank. Are they fixable or do I need to replace them

Does your computer still load up? If you can still hear the crunching sounds when your turn on your computer then it sounds like you might need new inverters for your monitors. This is the thing that makes the monitor light up. Inverters are relatively cheap but you may need a professional to install it, depending on your comfort of repairs.

My computer can't play no sound I went to sound

Hi,

When did sound work fine on your computer. Try this :-
Open device manager(Start - run - type devmgmt.msc) and expand sound video and game controllers.
Right click all the submenu underneath and choose uninstall.

(Note : All the menus will not give you an option to uninstall, dont worry)
Uninstall those which gives an option followed by restart your PC and see if it works.
If it doesnt, click start - run - type services.msc and look for windows audio service - make sure ot is automatic and started, if not make it.

Let me know the status.Awaiting response.

Thanks.
