DDTC reads off at all times even when pool is circulating. It usually reads the pool temperature. Also, i don't have a green pressure LED. Can't start the gas heater either.

If you have a control system (i.e...aqualink) controls on the heater should be set to remote. If that is the case and it still gives no temp reading, it is the thermistor (temp sensor). it is very common for rats to chew through the wire.

Buyer does not ignite after several attempts

Take off the front and see if you can see the igniter come on. It should glow bright red and be easy to see. If not, then your problem could be several other things: Hi limit temp sensor, thermostat, pressure switch, overflame sensor, or even a disconnected or chewed through wire (rodents love to chew on these wires).

If you can see the igniter come on then you have a gas supply problem.

Hope points you in the right direction.

Blows thermal fuse on raypack heater?

If you are talking about the "Roll out sensor" located on the lower left hand side, you have a problem with ventilation..Soot,debris, or possibly a rodent nest on the heat exchanger (Located just under the top cover of the heater). If it is electrical, you may have a bare wire touching the heaters housing (somewhere inside) causing a short. Rodents love to chew the insulation off low voltage wiring.

5 year old Laars 25,000 LX won't ignite.

The low pressure indicator is for the gas pressure not the water pressure. The heater won't ignite because it's not getting gas to the igniter. Check gas supply, if okay, check gas connections, valves, etc.

The 1 HP motor should be fine on the jacuzzi.
