OK the only shot you got is to geta USB to SATA/IDE converter dongle, connect to another PC's USB port. Hopefully, you will be able to read it. Otherwise still plugged in you may be able to use recovery software and get you DATA back. Recover my files is one,

How do i fix the cannot find the correct hard disk problem in my PS3

Test you console with another harddisk to see if it detects the harddisk.

Also try a low level format on the harddisk with a pc so to ensure that there
is nothing left on the harddisk, when reinserted in the ps3, the ps3 needs
to fomat the harddisk, quick fomat will be enoug.
If the original harddisk is still not detected, then your harddisk is defective
and needs to be replaced, if the console also doen't detect the new harddisk then your ps3 needs to return to Sony because the sata controller on the motherboard of your ps3 is defective.

I have a compaq, windows xp and the screen is black saying DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER, and the only options i can do is boot menu and setup and i don't know what else to do to...

open cpu and reconnect both connection to harddisk power cable and sata ir ide cable.
When u power up the computer press F1 or F2 or 'del" key to enter in bios then check your harddisk is detected .
This error comes when yourr hardidisk is not detected properly.
So detect your harddisk then check.

Es2 300x not boot up

Open your cpu cabinet.
Refix your RAM clean all dust from circuit bord.
Reconnect power cable and ide or sata cable to harddisk.

Reconnect processor fan and processor.
Reconnect power supply from psu to motherbord.
Pull your cmos cell from motherbord for 15 minutes from motherbord so all settings are reset to defaults.
Check in bios your harddisk is detected?
For boot your computer with operating system your harddisk must detect in bios.

please check the bus whether they r working. if they r working please check the jumper settings in the harddisk and the cdrom. this will solve ur problem
