Question about Toshiba 26HF85 26 in. Television
I have a Toshiba 26HF85 26 in. Television. There's just one hdmi input on the back so I got a Phillips hdmi splitter. When I connect a Dish network hdmi cable PLUS a PS3 hdmi cable into the hdmi splitter it doesn't work. When each cable is plugged in individually the tv works fine. As soon as I try the splitter it doesn't. My brother tested the splitter on his newer LCD TV and it works. Is it a compatability issue with older models or is there a setting that needs adjusting?

SOURCE: Help HDMI Splitter Doesn't Work!
The HDMI splitter is intended to take one source to two displays. You need an HDMI switch to take two sources to one display, a device you can tell which input to select.
