Question about HP LaserJet 4100n Printer
I have just gotta a 4100n printer. it comes with no instruction book.
its just the printer with a power cord. how do i connect it to the computer? like what kind of cable do i buy? its got three ports in the back, one bigger one, a smaller one, and a phone jack type one.
all i know is to go to the hp website and download the drivers. but im not sure as to which cable to buy to connect it to the computer.
its just for home use. thanks
The cable you need to connect to your pc is a regular parallel cable. It is called, IEEE 1284 Bi-directional Parallel Cable.
If you intend to use the a USB port this is what you need; USB to DB-25. The printer connection of the cable is the same the only diffrence here is the USB female adapter for the pc.
