Question about Ultra 5015541 - 400 MHZ Processor ( II)
Our church received a donated computer (MSI?) with XP prof.
System got corrupted and Im trying to reload/reinstall XP.
I get an error XP doesnt recognize HDD. (WD Caviar EIDE 80gb)
The boot up says "onboard bios disabled"
Do you know where the pin to enable is on the board?
All you have to do is reset the cmos, find the jumper and clear it, if you cant find the jumper then remove the motherboard battery for 10 mins (make sure the there is no power cord attached) that should reset the cmos, it also could be an old pc in which the bios doesn't support 64bit addressing, this means it will only recognise a hard drive of up to 40 gig, you could try a bois flash but i don't recomend it as you can kill the computer if something goes wrong

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
