My yahoo.es accounts not letting me access my mail

Hello,

Thank you for helping me! I live in the US, but I have two yahoo.es accounts that let me log in, but not see my email. All I can do is go to My Account and My Yahoo and all, but when I actually want to check my mail, my Internet Explorer navigator tells me that "Internet Explorer cannot display the website". I can see on the Yahoo.com or Yahoo.es pages when I am logged in my newest emails on the window that opens showing them, but no actual different, whole email account webpage. My yahoo.com accounts work fine. I don't know what to do.... Please, help! This email I am providing works fine.
Thank you!

Elena

SOURCE: i can't access or open any yahoo mail account on this computer

Your account may be locked for security reasons This happens because somebody tried to make a large amount of attempts to guess your password and enter your account. Many times, it's not actually someone trying to access the account, they just know that by sending a huge amount of requests, they can cause the user problems by having their account closed.
The servers understand that a human can make about 5 or 6 attempts a minute, this would be normal if you had forgotten your password or made a typo etc... and at this rate, it would take 18011 years to guess your password.
An automated program however, could make 1000s of requests a minute or even more! Its when the server experiences these numbers, for your own security, it locks your account.
Fix:
First, visit http://login.yahoo.com/config/login Don't Worry! The first attempt will fail, say incorrect password or something. It's the second attempt that matters. What you will see this time, is that you have a word verification. This is a secure system by which only humans could be making the request, bots cannot see the text, they see encrypted numbers.
For some, this is it, the account will log in again! For others, it's not so. You have to wait up to 48hrs for the account to come back.

Close a Microsoft Email Account

Microsoft provides a free email account known as Windows Live Hotmail.
This service allows you to send and receive emails from friends, family and businesses.

Sometimes though, it is necessary to close your Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail account.
Maybe someone who is unauthorized has gained access to your email account or you simply do not need the account anymore.

Closing a Microsoft email account can be confusing for people who have never done it but it is simple when you know the steps.

Delete content from other Microsoft services such as Windows Live Messenger, XBox Live, Windows Live Spaces and Windows Live Skydrive.

Doing this will ensure that your entire Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail account will be fully closed and inaccessible.

Go to Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail's close-account page. This can be found at http://mail.live.com/mail/CloseAccountConfirmation.aspx.

You will be required to sign into your Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail account.

Click "close account" once sign-in is complete and follow the directions on the screen. Allow 365 days for your user name to be fully deleted within Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail's system.

I am trying to use my yahoo.es account on windows live

No, you cannot use Yahoo in place of Windows Live. They are independent and so they have different programs eg. Yahoo! Messenger for yahoo and Window Messenger for Windows Live. Even if you would like to access both of them in one program, you cannot access them together, eg. You cannot view Yahoo Mails from Windows Live Mail and vise versa. But there's a way that you can add multiple accounts in Microsoft Outlook or Windows Live Mail. When I say this, I don't mean you are actually accessing Yahoo from Windows Live or vise versa but you can access yahoo mails from Windows Live Mail or Microsoft Outlook. Please follow this LINK, hopefully that will help you get some idea about how to set up and how it works.
Good Luck.

How can I temporarily suspend my yahoo account ? I need to stop receiving any/all email for a while but I do not wish to loose all my stored email. Please advise -- I have a simple mind, please explain...

If you do not log into your Yahoo account for a certain period of time (4 months), Yahoo will close your account and permanently delete all your email.

The only way to avoid this would be to sign up for Yahoo Mail Plus for $19.99 a year. In that case, they will keep your email for as long as you pay the bill, whether you log in or not.

http://overview.mail.yahoo.com/enhancements/mailplus

An additional benefit of the paid Yahoo Mail Plus account is that you will be able to download your email into mail programs like Outlook or Windows Live Mail so you have a backup copy of all of your email.

However, as long as you log into your Yahoo email at least once every four months, your email will not be deleted.

Some one is sending emails to all my contacts.. using my yahoo email ... what can i do ??

This is probably due to the fact that the intruder has some kind of access to your account from another location. This may be on a mobile phone of a friend which you used to check your e-mail but forgot to log out. As a result of this, the phone must have saved your username and password automatically thereby giving the person unlimited access to your account.
In this situation, the best thing to do is to try changing your password whenever you log in again. This would affect wherever the person is logging into your account from. When next the person is trying to log in, the person would be asked to input the new password which is most likely unknown.
Hope this was helpful?

I am not able to singin in yahoomail page

Hi!

You need to check first for capital letters in your user id and password. Make sure everything was type correctly.

If you forgot your password click here. Gon on the long process, the question and answer portion to verify your account.

If you can't still log in. then, most probably your account was blocked. For suspicion of phishing and spamming. You need to contact the Customer Care of Yahoo Mail. How? click this link
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/postmaster/abuse_smtp.html
Fill up completely the Yahoo Help Form.
And click Submit button. In a few time your account will be accessed again.

Let me know if your account is unblock.

I can't log into my main yahoo mail account, but I can log into another yahoo mail account. I keep getting this error: LaunchEmptyResponseIt's been this way for 3 days. I did an online chat yesterday...

Hi there,

There have been problems with signing into yahoo mail lately. Chances are, your ISP could hardly connect to yahoo's mail servers and vice versa. Try to use http://wap.yahoo.com and click on the Email link on the upper right corner of the website. You will be given a field to enter your username and password. You can use that temporarily is you really want to access email.

Please let me know if this helps you. Thank you for using FixYa.

Hello sir want some help i am able to login yhaoo . but not able to open the mail box

Hello,

You can log into your eMail account but the inbox-page does not load properly and turns up completely blank.

It is still possible to access your eMails, even though in a very minimalistic way.

Log in and then use the following link. It's a text-based inbox, yet better than nothing:

http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail

Hope that helps and keep your fingers crossed that yahoo! will fix this problem soon
