Question about Dell Latitude D820 Notebook

Right arrow key writes n- bbb n- n- etc.

The right arrow key on my Dell latitude D820 writes n- n- bbn- bbbbn-bn- etc when I just want to move around in text documents. Very anoying error since it is often quicker to move around in documents by using the arrows instead of the mouse, and this is not possible any more.

I have the same problem and it started today (2/7/09). The F12 keys and "Insert" key also produce junk.

My Dell D820 posts /n when I press the right arrow key. Sometimes that closes down whatever application I happen to be typing in. I've replace the keyboard once already, and the problem persisted, so it must be an issue internal to the laptop, and not within the keyboard electronics. :(

The solution is to get a new keyboard. I just replaced mine and it fixed this issue.

I need to see where the wires connect from the screen inside latitude d-820

The cable exits the screen just above the 'Pause' key and runs to the left some. The video connector for the D820 is pretty much right below the F9 and F10 keys.
