Lamp warning lit ~1200hr NO warning & new bulb SAME! so ideas?
Lamp red LED lit but not main bulb - short of hrs and NO warnings - so replaced bulb but thats the SAME - is it the electronics which may have suffered a generator spike - what can i do?
One day the projector didn't power up. TH elamp light flickered faintly and then after about 2 minutes the power flased orange and the lamp light came on. I tried a few more times and it came on. Th enext time I tried to use it it did the same thin and after trying fopr an hour I gave up. The next day it worked no problem. nOw it' sback to not power up again. My lamp has less than 700 hours and it's worked intermiitenatly so know it's not the lamp. Maybe a ballast problem or a short?I think I have the same prblem.

Maybe your power supply could be the problem or check the cable that link to the power supply to dc output.check with multi tester if there is power coming from the power supply .be careful with the ac input of the power unit.tq

Ok several things to say on this subject: Lamps generally work when a simple power supply is applied, in the case of LEDs these usually need a DC supply and they are polarity consious. Modern cars are often fitted with a bulb failure warning light in the dash. If your driving lamps are covered by a bulb failure warning system then the LEDs bulbs will show as a failed bulb all of the time. Driving lamps are made with a parabolic reflector and glass lenses designed to aim the light in a beam to the road ahead. However LED lamps will have the light source in a different position to Halogen lamps which may result in a much less focused beam. Lastly you will need to connect the extra terminal to earth.
Lamp LED should be lit when the projector is in Standby. However, the problem you are describing sounds like one of two issues. Either the lamp is bad and needs replaced, or there is a power supply fault. If you have tried replacing the lamp already, make sure you reset the lamp counter or the projector may still not function properly.
does the temp warning light come on when the projector shuts off? if so you may also try cleaning the air vent filters and ensure there is proper air flow around the projector. if that checks out then have the projector serviced as the power supply is likely suspect.
warning lamp some used for warn low oil pressure, etc. Wtith the bulbs use for most warning light circuit it is hard to determine whether or not the filamente is good. Will be a good idea to replace the bulb. For test the faulty warning lamp, turn the ignition switch to START, this light the warning lamp. I f the light does not come on , disconnect the sender switch lead. . Use a jumper wier to connect the sender witch lead to ground. With the ignition in RUN the warning lamp should light. If the lamp is illuminated replace the sending switch. If the light does not come on,either the bulb is burned our or the wiring is damaged.Use test light for confirm voltage is present at the sensor terminal connector. If there the bulb is bad. God bless you
Yes,the tv projection bulb life is ending.Sometime the LED light indication "LAMP"light up or blinkig,tv still work, because it just giving u a little advance warning that all.The "LAMP" LED indicaton light, light up right?
Lamp Time Reset Procedure:
Be sure to reset the Lamp time to "0" after replacing the new
Lamp.
1. Plug in the AC Cord, and turn on the power by pressing the
POWER button.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button on the unit and
the SPLIT key on the remote together for over 5 seconds
in power on condition.
When the reset is finished, the display will indicate that the lamp hrs have been reset to 0 and the LAMP LED goes out.
Press the input/device button and the menu button at the same time. Green LED will blink a two digit code blink 1st digit short pause blink 2nd digit longer pause and repeat. Any number of problems can cause this same symptom.
If the red LED your refering to is the Status LED and not the Lamp LED then you have big problems. A red Status LED indicates no communication from the Format board to the DMD board (light engine). 1/2 the time caps on the format board itself the other 1/2 must send entire electronics package to Mitsubishi.
How old is it ? Approx how many hrs have you used it? Was it set at Lo speed / low power or hi speed / max power on bulb and fan? Do you smoke in the same room? Is the unit ceiling mounted ( more concentrated hot air ). Have you had a power failure while the unit was on? The bulbs used in many projectors , although claiming 3000 or more Hrs ,are subject to early failure. If the unit or bulb is new ( less than 1 yr. old, contact the service manager at that co. and complain about short life; IThat works !
it is a bad fan. it also could be a power supply. Quite often the real problem is dirt clogging up the fan(s) to the
point that they need to be replaced. Operation of the set in a dirty
environment is not a good idea
I think I have the same prblem.
