Question about Fisher and Paykel Fisher Paykel Intuitive Eco Washer IWL15

1 Answer

Kenmore Front Loader stuck in "LOC" and every button produces "ERR"

This is a Kenmore Eco Cycle circa 2005 front loading washing machine. It has worked ok for over a year. Today, I cancelled a wash job with 2 minutes remaining, opened the door , then tried to start another wash. Now it is stuck in "LOC" and every button produces "ERR" on the LED display. I recall pushing Options + Select button to get the door unlocked after cancelling the prior job, but nothing seems to get it unstuck now, although the door is not locked.

Look for the 2 buttons on your that have a lock symbol.  Pushing & hold both for 3 seconds.  This toggles the child proof mode.

Have a kenmore front load washer and shows pau 45 in the display. Whatever button i press shows err cannot do anything with the machine.

LOC means it thinks the control panel is locked.
This gives the ERR indication when you push the buttons.
To unlock it you need to hold down the Options and Select buttons together until it reacts.

My washing machine won't start

The LOC code merely means the control responded and locked the door. You'll find a tech sheet under the top panel of the machine to help guide you thru the diagnostic process, which is fairly involved.

I know this may seem silly but - On the top right back corner of your washer hit it with medium force with your fist, this helps.

Frigidaire front load, ERR LOC, washer won't run

Just had same problem. After removing boot/rubber gasket around opening, and replacing door lock assembly it still would not work giving the same ERR LOC message! Another site directed me to press the "Options" and "Select" buttons at the same time. BINGO! My husband was quite proud of me!

You need to switch the machine off at the wall and leave it off for a few seconds. Open the door. Switch the machine back on again and close the door firmly. It should be o.k.
