The paper light flashing because there is some paper inside the printer. Open the front cover and remove the cartridge and look inside for the jammed paper. Remove the jammed paper and insert the cartridge , closed the front cover and switch on the printer.
It will help you to solve the problem.
You will have to open the Printer door and pull the paper out if you are lucky it will pull out in one piece if not you will have to get all the pieces out before it will operate again. When pulling out go very easy with it and move your fingers down with the paper to apply force at the closest point to where the paper pulls into printer.

there should be latches on back side and on the bottom side of the printer. when you unlock it and open you will be able to see the paper.Usually if you open cover just as to remove cartridge you should see paper jammed
