Hi

Set the controls to the first wash cycle and then try each water temperature setting. If both hot and cold water seem to be entering the washer with good pressure, water may be draining out prematurely during the fill cycle through siphoning action. Be sure the drain hose’s connection to the standpipe is at least 34 inches above the floor (otherwise, discuss the problem with a plumber). An air gap between the drain hose and standpipe that prevents backflow is also good to have.
If the washer doesn’t fill at all, the water inlet screens may be blocked; clean or replace them. Check your owner’s manual for the location of the screens; they are often located at one end of the supply hoses or you may have to remove a panel to access them.

You can check manual HERE

Other reasons for not filling may be that either the timer or temperature selector is broken; both of these repairs require an appliance repairperson.

If the hot water setting works but cold doesn’t, or vice versa:

1) Be sure both the hot and cold water faucets are turned on.

2) Be sure the supply hoses are not kinked.

3) Turn off the faucets. Unscrew the hoses from the faucets, and drain them into a bucket. Hold the bucket under the faucets, and test them to make sure they both work and have plenty of pressure. Screw the hoses back onto the faucets.

4) Unscrew the hoses from the inlet valves, and clean the filter screens just inside them; these may be clogged. To do this, pry out the screens with a screwdriver (this can be difficult because the screens may be inside the valves), flush them under running water, and then put them back into the hose. If the screens look defective, replace them. Then screw the hoses back onto the valves. Be careful not to cross-thread the hose threads when screwing them back onto the valves.

Hope this helps

The fill valve has two coils, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. It is possible that one of the coils can fail and you loose that filling ability. If the cold water coil quits, the hot will still work and during warm fill you will get hot water only and during a cold fill you will get no water at all. Washer Basics: Filling with water:
The water fill valve - The water fill valve is a mechanical and electrical part, the coils on the valve need electricity to mechanically open the valve to allow the water to flow into the washer....myth....the washer pumps water into itself...no, it does not. The fill valve opens and the house water pressure pushes the water into the washing machine.

You can test a fill valve live for 120 volts, power to a fill valve coil and no fill = a bad fill valve. You can also test the coils for continuity, no continuity = a bad fill valve. Some Maytag washers have a fuse in the fill valve circuit, if this fuse let go the washer will not fill. Fill valves can also from time to time stick open and not stop filling. If you have to shut off the fill valves to stop the water from filling in the washer, you have a bad fill valve and you will have to replace it.

Water level controls - The water level control is also know as a pressure switch, this is where you set the water level ( small - medium - large ). The water level control is responsible to shut off the power to the fill valve and direct that power to the timer so the washing machine can start up. The WLC has electrical contacts in it that sends power to the fill valve and when the WLC is satisfied the water level is correct the electrical contacts open power to the fill valve and send the power to the timer and the washer starts. Picture of this here. How the water level control knows when it is time to shut the water off is, a air tight hose runs from the outer washer tank to the water level control. As the water fills the outer tank air is pushed up the hose, depending on which setting you have made ( small- medium - large ) is takes a certain amount of this pressure to make the WLC cycle over and shut off the water and send this power to the timer. If this hose develops a leak or a pin hole the washer can over fill as the WLC may not be able to shut the water off. The water level control can also break down and allow the washer to over fill as well.

If u r  getting a mud or rust like marks on my clothes or the clothes r not cleaned properly
the tub seal lets go water will weep into the tub bearing. This will rust the basket shaft and normally wreck the tub bearing. Once the bearings starts to get worn enough it usually gets very noisy. The tub bearing is pressed onto the outer back half of the tub shell assembly. Normally need to replace the inner basket/shaft assembly  and the outer shell with the tub bearing.
Sometimes the inner basket support will crack, this can give an clicking or banging noise as well.

Lg washer leaving black greasy marks on clothes

This is usually to do with fabric softener. Dilute it with more water. The fabric softener makes clots, and these make the marks on your clothing.

Hope it helps

ERROR CODE LE ON LG FRONT LOAD WASHER

LE is a locked motor error. Not to worry as 95% of the time it is just a bad hall sensor (the motor position sensor). For your model the part number is 6501KW2002A.

Lg front load washing machine does not seem to get the clothes clean. I think it is because it uses so little water??? How can it get clothes clean with just a few cupfulls of water? All controls and...

I have run into this problem several times with LG washers. On one job LG had us replace every electronic componet that had anything to do with the water fill and the problem still was not resolved. The electronic control determines how much water to fill depending on the load size, so smaller loads give you less water, with the same amount of soap. Leaving clothes in the washer overnight, and leaving the door closed does contribute to mold and fungi growth in the washer. The customer tried different brands of soaps and different amounts of soap. He left the door open after usage to allow the unit to dry out, and tried different cleaners, to clean out the sludge build up. We determined that there just is not enough water to thoroughly clean the clothes. The sales store had to replace the washer with another brand. There is an ongoing class action lawsuit against Lg for this problem. Do an online Search for lg washer lawsuit. By the way, we don't have a problem with clothes not getting clean with the Whirlpool Super Capacity Duet Front-Loading Washers. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

You will need to have a qualified LG technician come out and see what the problem is.  You may have a water level switch issue.

LG TROMM Model WM2077CW-mildew on rubber

First and foremost you MUST use an HE detergent, HE(high efficency) is design specifically for fontloading machines.. and use little amounts of it, 2-3 tablespoons is all that is required to clean a full tub of clothing.
Jusst using less of regular detergent is not the same as using correct soap. the moldy smell and black filth when the front bellow is pulled back is actually residual detegent not being disovled in normal operation , all front loading washers are experiencing this issue, there is a new product on the market to help combat this problem and for the 1-2 months ive been reccomending no one has told me that it hasnt helpd. heres the link www.affresh.com

LG WM2077CW (UE error code)

For "ue" an unbalanced load is sensed three times; re-adjust your load in the machine. What is the capacity of your machine, you could weigh your dry clothes........refer manual.

For e1, it could be a water sensor problem. Check to see if the inlet valve is okay and not clogged, water shd be in good pressure. If this is okay, open up behind after taking the plug off the wall. There is a thin tube coming from the switch area to the outlet pump area; disconnect this from the top carefully and blow into it, it should be free; if it is clogged you will hav a water level problem. Unblock and refit carefully.
.....& rate me if helped.

There is a valve at the end of that bent hose you mentioned which could be stuck or jammed up with soap. You'll have to take the top off to get to it. Be sure and clean the bottom of the glass on the inside of the door. A single piece of hair can allow water to seep out.
