The problem lies in your registry. Look up for a registry cleaning or fixing software on google. I'm sure you'll find lots. My recommendation is CleanMyPC registry cleaner : http://www.registry-cleaner.net/

How can i reinstall the ntoskrnl.exe when it is corrupt

Assuming a couple of things:
1. Your OS is Windows XP
2. This is the error message you are getting -
"Windows NT could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
Winnt_root\System32\Ntoskrnl.exe
Please re-install a copy of the above file."

To reinstall notskrnl.exe, do this:
  • Start the computer by using your Windows XP CD-ROM. Press any key to boot from the CD.
  • After the setup files are finished loading press R to repair using Recovery Console.
  • When you are in the recovery console, select the installation to log on to (usually number 1), and then press ENTER.
  • Login to the Administrator account by typing the password for this account, and then press ENTER.
  • At the recovery console command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

    For Uni-Processor systems: expand <cd-drive>:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ <hd-drive>:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    For Multi-Processor systems:expand <cd-drive>:\i386\ntkrnlmp.ex_ <hd-drive>:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
Note In these two commands, the <cd-drive> placeholder represents the drive letter of your CD drive, and the <hd-drive> placeholder represents the drive letter of the hard disk on which windows is installed.
  • If you receive a prompt to overwrite the file, press Y.
  • Type exit, and press ENTER at the command prompt.
  • You should now be able to boot up properly.

When i start my computer a message came that 'disk

No your operating sytem or boot files have a problem. Something is missing or corrupt in the operating system or boot files.

    Try the steps below.

You will need a operating system disk or a repair disk to fix it. Insert it in the drive then boot from it. You want to get to a dos command prompt (black screen with white lettering) and type the following commands. Press ENTER after each command.
    bootrec.exe /fixmbr
    bootrec.exe /fixboot
    bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd

Reboot and see if the problem is solved. If not get back to the dos command prompt and run the check disk utility.

To run the check disk utility you will need a repair disc or a operating system disc. Put the disc in the cd drive and boot from it. You want to get to the Dos Command Prompt (Black screen with white letters) and type the following command: chkdsk /r
Check disk will run well over an hour or two and you will notice the percentages going from high to low, this is normal. Let it run to completion. Then reboot machine.

If check disk fails to solve your problem you might have to reinstall windows. Try doing a Repair Install that way you don't loose your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs.

In windows xp you get to the dos command prompt by selecting R for repair when the options appear.

In Vista and Windows 7 you want to get to the recovery console and look down at the bottom of the window for the Dos Command.

Xp pro sp3-after running macfee quick clean. on boot-explorer.exe "the application failed to initialize properly 0xc0150002"

Issue may be a corrupt explorer.exe (The file that actually launches the desktop). There is a lot of discussion on how an AV an bork explorer.exe here and several solutions.
    http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1061853506
The one I recommend you try 1st is: Fire up the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC), File, new task, cmd and then c:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe from the command prompt (edit the command if you didn't install windows in c:\windows). See if system restore can rescue explorer for you.
If that doesn't work, there are several other flavors of repair possibilities, last of which is reinstalling Windows

Problems with VB6 Make .EXE command:

I guess your compiling logs are absent, or have been corrupted, which are only used to when you publish/make an executable.

To Confirm this, Make your EXE through Command Line Compiler, and How See this

If its still not working and your Project is important, then make a blank project and copy paste all Source and Objects there.

    Funny UST scandal virus

    Hello,

Right click My Computer, select Properties, choose System Restore and turn off SR on all drives.

Then, do all the manual removals you posted before. Then, go to this url:
    http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
and run the full virus scan on all drives.

Because the files you note as infected are actually required by XP to run, you may not actually be able to go online, still try not to remove those files if possible, once they are removed you will have to restart your machine with the XP Disc and tell it to install, load any specific drivers needed such as those for your raid array if you have one, only when Setup tells you Windows is already installed, select Repair instead of New and Windows will heal your system.

So, because of those critical files being corrupted, don't be too surprised that when your online scan asks you to clean your system that your system freezes or halts at some point. Just be prepared with your Windows disc and Product Key.

I'll be available for any follow up questions you may have just comment back to me by clicking on my user name and then Ask Me.

    Regards,
    Worldvet
