Question about Samsung AW1893L Air Conditioner

Need installation info

I have a Samsung window a/c AW12EC87 that is dripping down the inside wall. When I check it with a level it is inclined to the inside at about 1/4 to 1/3 inch to the foot drop ...I know this is improper but I need info on what I should do. Should it be installed level or should it be installed with a "drop" to the outside?
I do not have the owners manual.

Tilt the unit toward the back so it will drain toward the back or you will have a mess on your hands, tilt it just about 1/2 in so the water runs toward the back and drains outside and very important to air filter clean

It should lean slightly to the outside, also you may have a blockage that is causing it not to drain properly, atleast some water should be going outside, check this by taking out the plug in the back, if no water at all is in there, then you have a blockage, you will need to unplug unit, take cover off and carefully clean the inside of the unit, try not to get electrical wet!

Air condition wather in the interior car

Could be the drain tube is partially clogged. It is usually located on the fire-wall or down towards the floor pan under the car. It is usually close to where the A/C lines go thru the fire-wall. About 1/2 inch diameter sticking straight out but may have a 90 degree elbow pointing down.
Also, it's been extra hot and humid all over and moisture could be freezing inside the unit when on MAX A/C, then suddenly melting when switched to normal. This opens the outside air door and allows warm/hot air into the unit instead of recirculating the cold air inside the car. The drain may not be able to handle a large, sudden quantity of water.
Perform a "driveway" test. Open the hood, start engine and run the A/C on normal with the windows or doors open. Locate the drain tube by looking for water dripping. Once located twist 2 or 3 pipe cleaners together and verify the tube is clean. Then close the doors/windows and switch to MAX A/C. Check for water dripping. If it stops dripping, water is freezing inside and now you know why!

Just want to know if it needs to be slanted, or level. A/C unit is presently level, and the fan blades "dip" into the approx. 1/3 inch water level that accumulates due to condensation, I...

If you have a window or thru the wall unit, it should be tiled down at the rear of the unit 1/4" to 1/2". This is required so that the water in the drip pan will flow to the rear of the pan and out thru the drain hole.

Hope this helps you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

The unit starts to drip water inside the house down the wall of the window that it is in

What you will need to do is reposition the window unit to where it is slightly tilted downwards in the rear so that the water flows out the backside.

Dripping air conditoner

The "drip pan" is actually the entire base srround of the unit. There are two critical things you must confirm 1) is the unit angled back to the outside(you need water to flow away from the inside) and 2) there may be a plug/obstruction in the outer casing where the water is intended to drain from. You should check to see if either or both of these conditions exsist.

Samsung ac model aw25ecb7

hi! bill,
water drip it should be outsidethe house, beside there is a spout on the basin of your ac unit and hose to drip off outside the house, all you gonna do insert a piece of wood or metal on front side of basin, in between basin and the wall, just small piece object to elevate the basin to outside wall, the water will not stored in the basin.or make a spout, drill a hole 1/4" size at the corner at the backside of basin out side your house,be carefull not to drill condenser tube or the fan blade, insert a plastic hose 3/16" and weld it by glue gun.and end of hose put it an empty bottle so that the water drip will not scattered outside your house.regards and don't forget to rate me,thank's a lot

Leaking water from inside samsung split sytem

if your indoor unit is leaking water down the wall,it is from one of two things.First, is possibly the insulkation on the copper lines is coming loose and the suction line is condesated, with no way to drain,it drips down the unit. The other possiblity is that the drain hose is coming loose from vibration and leaking a little.
