Question about Acer AL1916W 19" LCD Monitor
My monitor was working fine for about 3+ months. Then I gotthese faint horizontal lines. Just turned on my screen one day and had horizontal linesthat span the width of the screen and scroll along with the image. It's like whatever image is on the monitor bleeds across the screen. Like at night when you see light spread horizontally from a streetlight. I hope this helps explain the problem. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.
I tried this and it still does not fix my problem. I went into Menu and hit reset by mistake and that totally screwed up my monitor. Now the left side gets cutoff and no matter what I change the resolution to it does not fix it.
Whjat should I do?

The Ctrl-alt direction key sequence is supposed to be used for changing your workspace. On my computer at work it changes the screen orientation
Ctrl-Alt-Up - right side up
Ctrl-Alt-Right - 90 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Down - 180 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Left - 270 degrees
(If that doesn’t work, try Ctrl-Shift-R)

SOURCE: monitor with horizontal shakes
i have found a twisted groundline makes my monitors horizon dance, try a more natural approach to your power cord setup, like a waterfall or growing vines, rigged every 8 inches

If your computer does not have a video card that supports the correct
resolutions for the widescreen monitors, then your picture may get
stretched. Much like watching normal tv programs on a an hd set. It
will eitther strech or cut off the picture.
Try different settings in you computer display settings.

Changing computers doesn't help. Followed all suggestions from Viewsonic Tech Support. Problem is in monitor circuits--had to replace it.
