You can do this with any operating system disk for Windows XP or 7 I would not recommend Vista although folks swear by it still. Or you can order one from the factory or if you have one for your machine even better. Insert disk into the drive making sure that your first boot is DVD or CD whichever you have installed on your tower computer. If the computer is not booting from the disk first you will have to go to BIOS and set it to boot order CD or DVD first HDD second boot. F10 save settings reboot.
Once you have completed that process of boot order. Some machine will show you Hit delete or F1 to go to BIOS or setup. Follow the onscreen instructions as to what the information that comes up when the program is loading. That is about it really to restore to factory settings. John

How do i restore a diablotek elite atx mid tower to factory settings

Cases don't have "factory settings." This sounds like a problem with the motherboard configuration. Make sure to re-check all your pin connectors leading to USB, Audio, and HD. Also, you may need to remove the MB to check if there's any damage, and to be sure that you don't have a short somewhere.

I want to recover my computer to factory settings

As soon as you press the power button on your notebook, Keep tapping F8 repeatedly. Another screen should pop up with a list of commands (safe mode / start up repair etc) Near the bottom of the list you should see an option to ReInstall windows / Reset to factory Default. Select which one you prefer and follow the simple instructions.

Hope this helps and please rate thanks.
