Im going to tell you the safest, fastest, and Easiest way to do it, using your USB ,but it may require you to change settings manually on your device first. Make sure you have a Memory card,
Choose settings for USB connections on your phone.
1.Find "USB connection mo..."

  • Press the menu icon.
  • Press the fourth tab.
  • Press Phone settings.
  • Press Connectivity.
  • Press USB connection mo.... 2.Select setting
  • Press Mass storage
  • Press OK. 3.Exit

Once you've done this and have your memory in your device, Open the MY COMPUTER folder in your computer and connect your device to your computer using the USB cord, a new Icon will appear containing the folders from your device's memory card, that way you will easily be able to transfer files back and forth without the NEED of any sofware Cd's or use slow Bluethoot.

And Welcome to the Viewty Family! Enjoy...!

use photobucket, it's much easier and it syncs automatically.Or you can try to take the memory card out of your phone and stick it in the laptop to do the transfer. Use a micro sd card carrier that plugs into your laptop like a regular sd card. Or you can tell your phone to always connect as a usb mass storage device.

    To put picture on computer?

If your USB isnt working, an easy way to transfer pics to your computer is to subscribe to a cloud service like dropbox (www.dropbox.com) Upload pictures from your phone and then sign in on the computer and download from there.

A usb problem can be a faulty cable or the usbdriver for the cell phone needs to be installed on the computer for the computer to read from the phone,

Transfer pictures from phone to computer. I have the correct USB cable

I found an easy step by step to do this.
    1. Connect the USB cable to the computer and the phone.
    2. In the phone: When you attach the USB cable to the phone, a USB connection window appears, Select File transfer.
    3. On the computer: Open My Computer and your phone will be visible as a removable disk.
    4. Double-click the removable disk.
    5. Here you will find specific folders (depending on your phone model) where your pictures are stored.
    6. Drag and drop or copy and paste the picture from this folder to a folder on your computer.
    7. Disconnect the phone from the USB cable.
The picture is now transferred to your computer.

    Hope this helps

Im trying to transfer pictures from my computer onto my phone

You can try to install the CD that comes with your phone to your computer, then you can connect your phone using the usb cable provided. Then you can have an access to your phone's memory, this way you can transfer data to both ways. But, since LG systems have usually problems in this usb transfers (According to the most of the users, may depend from model to model also), you can simply transfer your pictures from your computer to your microSD card (your phone has an SD card, and you can plug that microSD in a card reader using a SD adapter), then you can plug your microSD card back in your phone, and then you'll have your pictures in your phone.

Of course i want to import my pictures that i took on my rokr e8 to my computer but when i look in the pictures file on my computer its not there...... im connecting it with a usb cord

I saved my photos on my album and then used the USB cord to transfer. Or when I snapped a picture I saved it in my blog on my phone and it automatically transferred to my t-mobile screen. I created a new folder on my desk top, transferred the photos and was able to save to my facebook.

I need help transferring my pictures from my Motorola V3 phone to my PC and i have a USB cable but no software, my computer isnt recognizing the phone please help me get these pictures

as far as i know motorola v3 usb is a plug and play. no need to have a software just to browse your device. try to plug it on windows xp. make sure that other usb device is pluging aside from your phone. if not then the problem isnt on your phone, its on your computer. if the usb device on your computer is the problem, then try to download a usb 2.0 driver for your pc and it should be done.

    Connectivity - usb cable

im not a genius or anything but i have nokia pc suite and i cant drag files to my phone either. i usually just plug the memory card into the computer and it comes up as a memory card with the images and video clips folders etc. im pretty sure its faster than the usb cable. you could also buy a usb infrared thing but they are very slow to transfer files. so if you really want to use your usb cable then this question wouldnt've helpd. thanks.
