42'' LG Plasma bought in Australia doesn't work in UK?
Hi guys, i have a 12 month old 42'' LG Plasma i bought in Australia 12 months ago. We shipped it over to Guernsey and now trying to use it on normal tv it doesn't really pick up a picture. I was told the sound is different here, but i can't really find a ''change country'' or ''change sound'' in the tv settings itself. I had sky installed yesterday, but it didn't work with that either? We have a small lcd also from Australia which does work and that is what sky is working through now. I'm not sure what to do to fix this problem? I was also told to buy a scart connection from the sky box to go onto the 3 pin (white, yellow, red?) plugs on the tv. Please help..... Dave (it;s close to this one i think, but not exactly, its a 2 year old model i think)

Re: 42'' LG Plasma bought in Australia doesn't work in...
Find out if Australia uses a different standard of HD programming than Guernsey or not since it's not picking up any channels at all with an attenna. Does the skybox use only scart connections and that's how your small lcd is connected to it?

You will definately want to call LG and have them refer you to an auth. service center for warranty repair. This is either a failed scan bd or mayber even a bad plasma panel and there is nothing simple for a problem as you describe.
