Question about Polaroid i532 Digital Camera

Camera sticks and screen won't stay on

Suddenly my camera will only turn on for about 2 seconds/ the screen flashes on too quick for me to see any of the icons and then the power light goes off. The lens is still sticking out and I have to keep turning it off and on for it to finally close. Usually, theres a short sound effect when it turns on and I don't hear that anymore either... I put new batteries in and that didn't work...could it be that the batteries are not strong enough? This is a brand new camera and I am REALLY FRUSTRATED! :( PLEASE HELP!

Re: camera sticks and screen won't stay on

I sent mine back to be serviced and they said it was the batteries. Use rechargables fully charged.

Canon powershot sx10 cannot download

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as iPhoto.

Camera won't connect to computer

Make sure the camera is on, and the selector is on the 'setup' spot. Batteries should be fresh, and a memory stick should be in the camera.
What does the manual say?
You can also have the computer search for recently attached hardware.

Handycam suddenly won't turn off. When I remove the battery it turns off ,of course, but when I reinstall the battery it starts up even though it is on off. If I try to record it won't and a C:13:01 shows...

I think it is Sony handycam but not sure what model it is.
Please provide model number to find out helpful info for you.
Model number would be written on sticker pasted at bottom of camcorder.

My camera wont stay on after i turn it on

Hi. It can be a problem with flash capacitor. To check if it is the case you should be able to power your camera at least for 10 seconds. If you can not power your camera for this time from batteries, try to use external DC 7.4V 2A power supply. After powering your camera just follow this procedure. 1. Turn on the camera. 2. Turn off the flash by pressing flash button (be sure that flash is OFF but not in AUTO regime). 3. Turn off the camera. 4. Turn on the camera. If after these operations camera can be powered from batteries and you can make pictures than the problem is in the flash capacitor which should be replaced. Or you still can make pictures with your camera without using a flash.

Memory stick error

Try using another memory stick, or insert a confirmed good memory stick, if OK, the memory stick is defective, if the same error, try pressing reset at the back of camera, a small hole beside the the DC jack. if OK, then fine, if still the same, camera needs repair. thanks
