Where can I find a pdf version of Sun Microsystems StoreTek dat 72 users and installation guide

You shouldn't have too much trouble, they are a bit old hat but you should be able to get one from most PC shops/repair shops, some electrical retailers but I'd try ebay for the cheapest option.

Just ensure what terminals you need at each end of the cable, there are various choices.

download and install Sun Microsystems OPEN OFFICE.

I believe this is what you are looking for it's Java by Sun Microsystems. It is necessary for alot of different things but most commonly games. Make sure you don't have any prior versions in your system before download. You will probably want this too, if you don't already have it:

This and Java go hand in hand. At the end of the download, you will ahve the opportunity to download Adobe Reader which is also good to have mainly for PDF files.

2. Click on the "Download Now" button opposite to "DAT 72 Drive Driver for Windows XP".
3. Proceed with the download instructions.

I would go to control panel, then "add or remove software". Find Java and then completely remove it. Then go to www.sun.com and redownload the java software and install it again.

Microsoft has very little for free--just updates to original versions. You might look into 'Open Office' from Sun Microsystems which is similar to Office, but is free for the download (some 200MB).

I have found Revo Uninstaller software effective in removing all code (including buried and hidden code) for software. It is freeware I have downloaded from CNET.com Download, which I find a safe site through which to download both freeware and software which must be purchased.

Left click on the link for the Free version. Follow the on-screen downloading and installation instructions.

Once Revo Uninstaller is installed, check the Help file to see the User Guide and learn the steps to follow to fully remove unwanted software. Note: You may be surprised how much hidden code there is buried in your computer registries.
