Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure youselect the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers youthat require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on yourlaptop. Are you absolutely sure that you have the correct card/driver combination, make sure you have correct driver. Also install as Administrator, and run any software associated with it as Administrator, too.
Go to device manager, right click on adapter, and uninstall the adapter, reboot, then, when it boots up, again, it should "Ask" for drivers, show it were the driver files are. OR don't continue with autoinstall, cancel, and run the install software to do so as said above.
