Printer error message ''Cartridge error''

I replaced one of the cartridges on my printer, and after that, the message "Cartridge error" appeared. When I put back the old cartridge, the same message came up. Please help me.

Which part of the cartridges could be giving this problem?

Just check the no. of the cartrige & is it org. or compatiabe

How do I fix e07


I assume you have a Canon copier based on the E007 error code. The Fuser fixing film is torn and the Fixing film assembly or the entire fuser should be replaced. Very common issue.......You cannot reset that code without first replacing the part causing the code.

Each cartridge having printing life, as long as cartridge health condition is good it won't gives any trouble. Subjected series printer having mono & colour cartridges,1. Remove both cartridge from the printer 2. Switch on & wait till message appears for insert the cartridges..3. Insert mono(Black) cartridge, close the door & wait till message appears on screen. If message appears same as cartridge error mean that mono cartridge is faulty replace it, if message appears like insert another cartridge, it's confirmed that colour cartridge faulty.. Replace it..

HP Photosmart 5180 has ink cartridge problem, Says following ink cartridges appear to be missing or damaged.


Solution
Complete the steps below in the order presented to resolve the problem. It might not be necessary to complete all of the steps.NOTE:The printer will not operate unless all six ink cartridges are installed Step one: Reset the printer Do NOT perform any other type of reset on the printer before the ink initialization process has been completed.Without turning the power off, remove the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall socket.Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cord to the printer and to the wall socket. Turn the unit on if it is not already turned on.Check the printer for the error message. If the error message still displays, go to the next step.Step two: Clean the cartridge contacts Lift the top cover. Figure 1: Lifting the top cover Locate the ink cartridge indicated in the error message. Squeeze the gray tab below the cartridge slot to release the latch and then lift the latch.Figure 2: Unlatching the cartridge 1 Black cartridge 2 - Color cartridges Remove the cartridge indicated in the error message.Figure 3: Removing the cartridge Gather the following cleaning materials:Distilled, filtered, or bottled water. No cartridge error message


yes, if no cartridge into printer, device will appear error message, but if have cartridge into printer, printer still appear message, it most likely your cartridge problems

Unable to print from lexmark x2690. printer is giving the error E C 1 on display.


EC1 error message indicates that your printer having trouble recognizing one of your cartridges. You could try to re-seat the cartridges in the printer. Remove and reinsert both cartridges. You may also wipe the cartridge nozzles with a damp paper towel to clean it from dirts and clogs. If error continues, check w/c cartridge is causing the error. Insert one cartridge first, then close the cover. If no error appears, then insert the other cartridge. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear.

I was installing the yellow ink and then all the sudden after I installed it the message Error Oxc18a0301 appeared! How do I fix this?


Shut down your printer by pressing Simultaneously Cancel + OK + Black + Color.
Complete the steps below in the order presented to resolve the problem. It might not be necessary to complete all of the steps.
NOTE: The printer will not operate unless all six ink cartridges are installed. Also, HP cannot guarantee the quality of refilled or re manufactured ink cartridges. Step one: Reset the printer CAUTION: Do NOT perform any other type of reset on the printer before the ink initialization process has been completed.
  1. Without turning the power off, remove the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall socket.
  2. Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cord to the printer and to the wall socket. Turn the unit on if it is not already turned on.
  3. Check the printer for the error message. If the error message still displays, go to the next step.
Step two: Clean the cartridge contacts
  1. Lift the top cover. Figure 1: Lifting the top cover
  2. Locate the ink cartridge indicated in the error message. Squeeze the gray tab below the cartridge slot to release the latch and then lift the latch. Figure 2: Unlatching the cartridge 1 - Black cartridge 2 - Color cartridges

That's a main motor error, something could be jammed in transport, or a generic toner cart. that is too hard to turn, try powering on with toner removed...

If you turned the machine off and replaced the cartridge, you can get this error.

Could you try the following procedure below please to clear the error, thanks.
  1. Turn on the unit.
  2. Open the top cover to access the print cartridges.
  3. Remove the new cartridge that is causing the message.
  4. Reinsert the cartridge and close the cover. The following message will appear on the front panel: "Press 1 for new cartridge or press 2 for a used cartridge."
  5. Press the 1 on the numeric keypad of the HP product.
If the message, press 1 for new cartridge or press 2 for a used cartridge, "does not appear after removing and reinstalling the new cartridge, and the low ink warning message still displays,

follow the steps below:
  1. Turn on the unit.
  2. Open the top cover to access the ink cartridges.
  3. After the cartridges stop moving, unplug the power cord.
  4. Remove both cartridges and close the top cover.
  5. Plug the power back in. The unit will reinitialize and a message will appear to insert the cartridges.
  6. Open the top cover and reinsert the ink cartridges. Close the top cover. The message,
  7. Press 1 for new cartridge or press 2 for a used cartridge," should appear.

The following error message appears on the color graphics display after you insert a cartridge: Remove and Check Print Cartridges . The printer will not print. The message does not specify which cartridge has caused the error. Solution This error message indicates that the printer cannot determine which cartridge is causing the error. Follow the steps below to solve the problem.
  1. Remove the color cartridge from the left stall (which has a blue latch) and refasten the latch. Leave the other cartridge in place.
  2. Close the printer, wait 10 to 15 seconds, then look at the LCD display.
    • If the LCD display reads Insert Color Cartridge in Left Stall , the color cartridge may be causing the problem. Follow the steps below:
      1. Clean the color cartridge contacts.
      2. Reinsert the color cartridge into the carriage and close the blue latch.
      3. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.
      4. If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , replace the color cartridge.
    OR
    • If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , follow the steps below:
      1. Reinsert the color cartridge.
      2. Remove the black or photo cartridge, depending on which one is installed in the right stall. The right stall has the gray latch. Be sure to refasten the latch on the empty stall.
      3. Clean the black or photo cartridge contacts.
      4. Reinsert the black or photo cartridge.
      5. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.
      6. If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , replace the black or photo cartridge.

  1. Remove and then reinsert the cartridge indicated in the error message.
  2. If the error is still displayed, clean the contacts.
    1. If the error message is Error. Remove and Check Black or Photo Cartridge , the following steps may help:
    1. Remove both cartridges, lower the latches, and close the printer access door.
    2. Turn off the unit by pressing the On button on the front panel. Wait for the printer to completely shut down.
    3. Turn the printer back on by pressing the On button.
    4. When the message display reads Insert Print Cartridges , open the access door and replace the cartridges.
    1. If neither of the steps above fixed the problem, either the cartridge or the printer is faulty
