It is either your DVD drive which is defective or the DVD you are using. Try to check if the lens of your DVD drive is clean. If dirty, clean with 1% alcohol (cotton buds dabbed with the solution). Also check your DVD for scratches that may prevent you from reading it. Also, you may try your DVD in other computers. If it works, then most likely your DVD drive is defective.
