SGH-A411 problem i accidently put a puk lock on my phone and i searched for a problem on this site and i found some number and put it in my phone without a sim card. which apparently would wipe my phone. It did, now it says ''contact service provider'' is that right, Did it cancel my plan ( 1c text) with telstra.?

No basic ally it means ''contact service provider'' Be warned Some Networks charge for this information.

your network will give you a pin to unlock your phone, Basically putting in some random code from the internet has BRICKED your phone its worth less unless you get this unlock code.

Of it has a puk lock screen then the phone itself has been barred by the network provider either through too many pin attempts or theift, you will have to contact the provider they will give you the code. :)

How to unlock samsung SGH-A411

If it's the phone lock (not the SIM) you can try this:
Switch off phone, remove cover, battery and SIM card.
Replace the battery and switch on phone.
When phone ask for SIM card enter the following code -
*2767*3855#
Note this will clear the phone memory so you may lose a few things.
Next switch off and replace the SIM card, battery and cover.
Hope fully this will work.
