Manual formsi-7104ver:1.0 motherboard

The MSI MS-7104 version 1.0, motherboard, is also known as the MSI PM8M-V motherboard,

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/PM8M-V.html

Scroll down the page, and hover your mouse cursor on the heading - Download.
(Overview, Specification, Download, Support, Where to Buy)

In the drop down list left-click on - Manual

Under the heading Download to the right, left-click on the blue -
M7104v1.0.zip

Now left-click on the country nearest yours.

A small window will come up on the right,
Opening M7104v1.0.zip

If the circle to the left of Save File has a green dot in it, leave it.
If not left-click in the circle to the left of Save File. (Puts a green dot in the circle)

Go to the bottom right of the window, and left-click on OK.

A small window will come up on the left.
IN the wording at the top of this window tells you where the file will download to.

It may have Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads in it. (Based on WinXP. Vista and Win7 is different) You may wish to write it down.

1) Desktop:
The file will be on your desktop screen.

2) My Documents:
Left-click on Start, then on My Documents.

3) Downloads:
Left-click on Start, then on My Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

Primer:
A ZIP file is used to send large amounts of information more easily.
A ZIP is 'unzipped' using an unzip program.

You should have WinZip on your computer. An unzip program. If not I suggest using a free alternative. One such alternative is 7-Zip,

http://7-zip.org/

{ 32-bit x86 is for the regular version of Windows XP Home Edition, or Windows XP Pro Edition.
The 32-bit versions }

When you see the zip file, DOUBLE-click right on it.
The Unzip Wizard should come up. Left-click on unzip in the right column.

Now go to the far Left side, and left-click on Extract All Files.
Left-click on Next, Next, and Finish, at the bottom of the three windows.

You will be looking at a window that has the file name next to a red PDF icon.
Double-click on it.

You are now looking at a PDF file form of the motherboard manual.

Netbook only loads up to the desktop page but will not go any further my boy downloaded a wallpaper last night and it hasn't worked since, i can't get into the control panel to uninstall it

If you cannot get into Control Panel, I suggest a rogue scareware anti-virus has been picked up.

It attaches easily, and is easily picked up off of the internet.

The rogue scareware anti-virus I'm referring to is a form of MS Anti-Virus.
Has been out for years, and has changed it's name over the years.
It takes over Administrator settings, and will not let you access them.

Control Panel, Task Manager, Windows Explorer, Administrative Tools, and so on.

Info on MS Anti-Virus,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_Antivirus

As you can see MS Anti-Virus has changed it's name over the years. This is an older article, and new names have not been published in it.

MS Anti-Virus will pop-up with what looks to be genuine Microsoft wording. It leads a person to believe it is a genuine anti-virus from Microsoft.

It can also pop-up, and start attaching itself before you know what is going on. Could have popped up for your son, and he was too scared, or didn't know what to do.
(Press the Power On button in, and hold it in for a count of 10 seconds. Turns the computer off.
Then install a CD copy of Malwarebytes to wipe it off, when you go to restart the computer again)

Kick it to the CURB!

I suggest using the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

On the internet you will see people hawking one anti-virus after another.
All claim it is the best one.
I have used Malwarebytes to easily rid MS Anti-Virus, and KNOW it works.
I use Malwarebytes all the time. (And CCleaner)

Info on Malwarebytes,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malwarebytes%27_Anti-Malware

There is a free version, and a paid for version.
I suggest the free version.

Malwarebytes.org has both. I have downloaded the free version from them, but it has a constant reminder to purchase the paid for version. Nothing wrong with that, but there is a free version available without the constant reminder, from Cnet.com

http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

{The paid for version turns on automatically when the computer turns on. Checks websites as you view them, your email, and a host of other attributes. It is also a commercial version.

The free version turns on when YOU turn it on. Just remember to use it on a scheduled basis when you think it is necessary. The free version works just fine }

On the Cnet link above left-click on Download Now (9.03MB) in the rounded rectangle.
Takes a few seconds before a small window comes up -
Opening mbam-setup-1.51.1.1800.exe

{Took 9 seconds just now}

Left-click on the empty circle to the left of - Save File
Another small window will come up.
In the heading of the window is worded where the file will go.
Write it down.

In the wording there may be Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads.
(Desktop, Documents, Downloads, for Vista and Win7)

Desktop: The file will be on your Desktop screen

My Documents: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents.
(Windows logo button, then on Documents, for Vista and Win 7)

Downloads: Left-click on Start > My Documents, > then DOUBLE-click on Downloads.
(Windows logo button, Documents, double-click on Downloads, for Vista and Win7)

When you see the file name Double-click right on it.
Follow the easy instructions. (Got questions when installing, post in a Comment)

After you have installed Malwarebytes, open it up. (Run Malwarebytes)
Perform a Full Scan.

When Malwarebytes has finished, close all windows, restart your computer.
Do you have access to Control Panel now?

There is one more thing to perform.
Turn System Restore off, run Malwarebytes one more time.
Then turn System Restore back on, and create a Restore Point.

System Restore not only restores the files on your computer, it also restores the virus.

In Control Panel click on Performance and Maintenance.
Go to the far left side of the screen, and left-click on System Restore.

When System Restore loads, go to the left side, and click on System Restore Settings.
In this window click on the empty square box to the left of -
Turn System Restore off.
Go below, and click on Apply. Now click on OK.

Run Malwarebytes.

When finished restart your computer.
Go back to Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, System Restore, System Restore Settings.

Click on the square box again. Removes the green checkmark.
Click on Apply, then on OK.
Go back to the System Restore window.
Click on - Create a restore point.

If the wallpaper is a program you can delete it from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
You can also use Windows Explorer. (Not Internet Explorer)

Click on Start, hover your mouse cursor on All Programs.
Go up to Accessories, then over, and down to Windows Explorer.

I also suggest you open your hidden files and folders.
These are files hidden from the user so that basic necessary Windows files are not accidentally deleted.

DO NOT delete any files unless you are Sure about what you are doing. You can look around in Windows Explorer all day, and not harm anything.

Go up to the top header. Left-click on Tools. Now on Folder Options at the bottom of the list.
Left-click on the View tab.

Under the subheading Hidden files and folders, left-click in the empty box to the left of -
Show hidden files and folders

Now go below, and click on Apply, then on OK.
A Windows 'Squawk box' will come up.
Tells you what I already have.
It's okay.

When Windows Explorer opens up, it automatically shows the My Documents file 'tree' opened up.
It also shows the contents in the larger window to the right.
I like to close the file tree for My Documents. Makes it easier to see what you are doing.
Click on the - sign to the left of My Documents.

Now left-click on the + sign to the left of My Computer.
Click on the + sign to the left of - Local Disk (C:)
{Harddrive}

Click on the + sign to the left of Programs.
Is it listed?
Click on the + sign to the left of it then.

On the right, right-click on each file name one at a time. In the list that pops out left-click on Delete.
When all files are deleted go back over to the name in the file tree to the left.
Right-click on the name, delete it.

I 've probleme with my driver of wi_fi on acer aspir 4333 I want to donwload how and where I have installed on my laptop one driver for wiless last time I want to actived before use

Don't know where you downloaded the last Wi-Fi driver to. Don't worry about it.

Suggest you download again, and this time watch where the file will go.

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

Left-click on Notebook, then Aspire, then scroll down the sidebar, and left-click on Aspire 4333.

Click on the wireless driver you need. Broadcom or Atheros.

When the small window comes up, make sure there is a green dot in the circle to the left of Save File.
If there isn't a green dot in this circle, left-click in the circle.
Now left-click on OK.

Another small window will come up.
Look in the heading (Top of window) to see where the file will go.

In the heading you may see Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads as part of the heading.
(Desktop, Documents, or Downloads for WinVista, and Win7)

Write it down. This is where the file will download to.

Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen.

My Documents: Left-click on Start, My Documents. (Or windows logo button, Documents)

Downloads: Left-click on Start, My Documents, and DOUBLE-click on Downloads.
(Or windows logo button, Documents, double-click on Downloads)

When you see the file name, DOUBLE-click right on it.
Follow the instructions of the Installation Wizard.

(Essentially just left-click on Next, Next, and Finish. Do Not change any settings. Windows knows where to put the driver file. Restart your computer)

My Canon MP 150 continues to return the e19 error message after trying to scan the alignment page. How do I fix that?

Well it looks like the head alignment sheet was not filled in properly ...
Confirm the circles were filled in as follows: Good example:

Lost mother board CD sound drivers not installed

You can click on the MSI link below for your MS-6734 motherboard; (All drivers & more).
http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=searchresult&keywords=MS-6734&table=download

If your sound driver software will not install correctly there are other ways to install the driver.
First, your windows registry should be cleaned. (Windows registry contains old sound driver software & RegCure will remove none needed windows keys).
Download & run the free program RegCure.
Here is the link for RegCure;
http://www.pctuneuptips.com/recommends/clean/?gclid=CL2RiIrTmpICFSFMGgodODIPzg

Once RegCure has finished restart your system. Create a folder on your desktop & name it, Sound driver. Download the driver from MSI (See the first link above) File name, Realtek_AC97_MB.zip & save the file into your Sound Driver folder. The file named Realtek_AC97_MB.zip is compressed.
You will need to uncompress the file, you will need WinZip for this. You can download a free trial from the next link; (Winzip uncompress *.zip files).
http://download.cnet.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html
Once Winzip has been installed restart your system.
Open the Sound Driver folder. Right click once on the file named, Realtek_AC97_MB.zip.
A pop-up window will open slide your mouse to the Winzip icon & right click on it once. In the next pop-up window slide to & left click, Extract to here. The file will uncompress.
Uncompress ion will create another folder named, AC97. All needed driver files will be stored in the AC97 folder.

Open windows device manager. Click the start button (In windows) & open control panel. Open the System icon. Click the hardware tab & than click the device manager button. Look at the icons.
If you see, unknown PCI device or a yellow pair shaped icon with an explanation point ( ! ). This will most likely be for the sound driver. In stall the driver software from here. (Follow the instructions below).
Right click once on the explanation point, a window will open & Left click once on “update driver”. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Left click on the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find the “ Sound Driver ” folder on your desktop. Open it, high-light the AC97 folder by left clicking on it once. Windows will search within the folder & install the correct sound driver software. Restart your system.
Open windows control panel & open the Sound and Audio Devices icon. Check both the Audio tab & Voice tab. Both should show RealTek AC97. Test for audio.
