This was a very good answer for anyone with a Manfrotto problem. The seem to carry every part but the one I need. I am still looking for the bottom tube for a 681B.

I would like to thank kernow62 for taking the time to give such an informative answer. It was complete with links and phone numbers.

Spartan photo does say that they can order the part from Italy. I just might buy a whole new one. Seems a shame since this one saved me from a line drive off the shin. It stopped the ball dead. Unfortunately it is now bent and dented.

I have no affiliation, nor have I used them but you might try.

I assume you have contacted Bogen/Manfrotto directly. Most manufacturers will tell you where you may purchase parts.

It sounds like the tubes may be dented or bent. It won't take much of a bend to make it hard to work. Send it to:

Leg stuck on Manfrotto 732CY tripod

Other than the leg locks themselves, sometimes Manfrotto expands the last portion of the leg tube that slides into the leg tube above it. If you need some spare parts you can find them here.

How to take apart manfrotto monopod 682b? I need to take it apart to fit in suitcase and then put back together. It is about 3" too long to fit on airplane.

You can loosen the top screw on the top leg lock. Just enough so you can pull the bottom legs out of the main tube. Ths shoud shorten it up a bit. You wil need a small spintight or wrench.

The smallest clamp (bottom clamp) is broken.

Try for that part. There is listed the widest selection of Bogen parts and support more models than any other web site I’ve seen. There are losts of pictures to help find just the right part.

Need bottom section for 2 Bogen3218 monopods any suggestions

Individual parts (and the parts list) are availble from Bogen-

You can get the parts list from:

but the "search" doesn't seem to work when you put in the code (3218), so you may have to scroll thru the 1300 docs til you get to yours- are you sure it's a 3218- they don't show one, but they show a 3216

Broken lower clamp

You can order parts from Manfrotto by entering 681 as the product code on this page to determine the part number. Then use their Contact Us page to tell them you want to order the part.
