Well I tried for clarification but no luck. Sooo...did you check your plug? Monitor setting? VTR switch? I know it all sounds like duh, but they're always the cheapest fixes. If it is more involved, let me know and I'll talk you through it. These are easy cameras to fix (if you can get the parts).

My Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T-300 has been vibrating and not showing a clear image on the display. What is up with that?

All I can say is that the Sony DSC T-300 is a joke. For the price of the camera ITSELF IS A JOKE. I had the same problem, and Sony wants you to ship it to TEXAS. C'mon!!! Go out and buy yourself a Canon. It's cheaper and it won't vibrate mysteriously.

I talked to Sony Support and found a solution for it =)

Just Reset The Camera!

To Do this

1 .Turn on Camera
2. Press Menu Button
3. Go to Setup 1
4. Go to Initialize
5. Press the Right arrow (The One with the Flower on it)
6. Go to ok and press ok (on the Camera)

Now turn on the camera!

It should work

Battery for Sony DSC T-300

I bought a SONY DSC-S750 3 months ago. Since last week, when i turn the camera on, appears the message "for use with compatible battery only". The battery came with the camera. The camera was bought in a big store in Philadelphia. I WILL NEVER BUY A SONY CAMERA AGAIN. I already tried to reset, tried to remove the battery and the problem persists.

Upgrade to a newer SONY product

I also have a DSC T-1, and I've been looking at the DSC T-100, which is a 8.2MB camera with 5x OPTICAL zoom, image stabilization, facial recognition (for auto focusing), and it allows you to zoom while recording a video. The T-100 appears to be a great camera, and if you look carefully, you can find one for under US$300. A friend just got the DSC T-20 which has some of those features. As far as I can tell, neither use the same batteries, but the memory cards are the same, and while I'm not entirely sure, I think the data/power cable plug is the same. The batteries may not be that much of an issue because the charge life of my T-1 batteries is pretty degraded, especially when compared to my friend's brand new T-20. Hope this helps.
