Question about Canon PIXMA MX310 All-In-One Printer
I am printing on 6.50/3.50 envelopes and they have ink smudges on them. The manual tells me to use the paper thickness lever at the front of the printer but there is none on mine. I have a canon mx310.
The paper thickness lever is not on the front...it is on the floor of the "paper output tray" chamber. It is hard to see without directed light.
Refer to Loading Paper section of the Quick Start Guide....p 15 2 Prepare to load paper
(4) Adjust Paper Thickness Lever
Or look at the "User's Guide on-screen manual" as directed by the Note on p. 17
I really had to search to find this lever while attempting to resolve my problem with a badly aligned printing head. I am going to have to buy a new printer. It definitely won't be a Canon due to the rip off cost of print cartridges.
Hope this is helpful.
