I don't get the alternating flashing lights but get the error message; my husband took the dashboard apart and still couldn't get it working.

My DVD Player has been trouble since I purchased my 2004 Pacifica.

At times it locks CD's and will not eject them, I have had the flashing lights three at a time then they alternate. I just had the dealer put a brand new one in and in less than a week I get Error whike playing CD's.

Had the same problem, took my Pacifica to the dealer where they diagnosed an internal mechanical malfuntion. They said the only way to fix it is to rebuild the unit. Luckily I bought the 7 year 100 thousand mile warranty and didn't have to pay the estimated $700.00 parts and labor charge. It is fixed and works just fine.

Hi 2004 Chrysler Pacifica p2066 p0404 Also it drain the battery when not in use

P2066 relates to a fuel sensor level:
chrysler error code p2066 Google Search

P0404 relates to an EGR fault (Exhaust gas Recycler). You may be able to clean the EGR:
chrysler error code p2066 Google Search

Whether this is causing your battery to drain isn't clear - there are other causes of batteries discharging, such as burnt out diodes in the alternator.

Treat it as 3 faults - try and rectify the 2 error codes first (disconnect the car battery whe not in use to prevent it draining) .. and then look at the cause of the battery discharge

The dvd player won't work. The 6 lights are blinking on and off. How do I fix this

Happened to me as well. I first had it give me an error with disk 6 flashing so I removed it, put it back in and the lights would flash from 3 left to 3 right. I removed the DVD changer from the car again, removed the top (one screw), removed the black face plate (4 screws and carfully pry up on the bottom tabs when pulling it forward. I then took out the five screws holding the changer (four on top, one in the back) and removed the changer so I could get to the bottom. There is a set of wheels on the bottom that I started to turn which was easy at first but it seemed to reach a point where it was stuck so I gave it a bit more and something seemed to snap into position. So I assume that it was just the mechanism that jammed when it tried to switch disks. I put it back together, installed it, and it works fine now. When it first started all the lights would flash but then it settled down to a single light and I ejected the first 3 disks and number 6 and let it play the forth. Now to see how long it lasts.

Battery light stays on in my 2005 chrysler pacifica

Try unhooking one of the battery cables and leave it off for at least 20 minutes. When you hook it back up the computers should re-boot. That has solved problems for me with heater, interior lites, power windows, AC, day time running lites, power mirrors, CD player, and wipers on GM autos and S-10 PU and Dodge trucks. None of the switches are connected to the device they control anymore. The switch tells the computer to open the window and the computer send a signal to the window motor. When the computer gets confused strange things will happen or not happen. Of course you may have to re-set your radio stations.

If that does not fix it, then have the alternator tested. Advance Auto parts will test for free. They will also read out the computer error codes for free.
