Bosch DHD965AUC Won't Lift Up (by 2 users)

I have a Bosch downdraft blower that suddenly just won't raise up when I push the Up/Down button. Any ideas?

bosch dhd 965 blower on all three speeds work but the button that you push to lower and raise the unit does not work. i raised the unit to clean the outside and the vents and now I can not lower the unit. HELP. flemington new jersey

i've got the same problem.

i'm solving it by replacing the motor that moves the arm that lifts the sucker.

i think the part number is

AP3193909
