Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop
I bought this dell from a friend, and i have plugged an external dvd burner in to it,doesn't recognize nothing,it has a dvd player in it,no luck, usb ports,no luck,so how come it doesn't have all the device drivers!!!it has xp home edition with sp 3!!! what do you think????
First you need to check that you have usb activated in bios.....mostly its F10 at start up or DEL key to enter bios verify that it has been activated
go to device manager and check if it has any ? ! on any of the usb devices
keep me posted

Tips for a great answer:
VOILA! Both my laptop and my desktop PC recognized the LG BD burner again and assigned it a drive letter (like it used to do).
