Hi,
Most PDA's have a software disk that should be installed before plugging in to the computer. Is the PDA windows based? If yes you will also need to download Microsoft Activesync for free from Microsoft Site. ActiveSync is used to sync the contacts, emails, etc between your desktop / laptop and your device.
