My comp. slows way down when I play facebood helps if I defragment but starts again as soon as I play

Try updating Flash. Most games on facebook have had improvements made but they require the newer version of Flash to work well. Another solution would be to upgrade your RAM memory and to ensure that all automatic updates are turned off when playing. One last thing to consider is facebook itself has recently had many problems with their games crashing and regardless of what computer you use, you'll have issues.

Ok, this is my problem. My friends comp took a dump. A friend told her that it was definatelythe hard drive. I thought ok, lets find out how to replace it. But than was told by someone that it may be the a...

There is a way of testing harddrives and RAM using the manufacturers diagnostic tools, you would have to go to the harddrive manufacturers website and download the utility then burn it to a CD.
You can also download a whole bunch of diagnostic tools and burn it to a CD using whats known as "The Ultimate Boot CD". There is plenty of help and instructions on the UBCD web site:
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/
You will need a computer that has a CD burner installed and the ability to make a bootable CD, you will also have to change the setup of your friends computer so that it boots from the CD first and not the harddrive, by carrying out the diagnostic tests hopefully you can identify the faulty part easier and avoid buying something you don't need.

Hello:

Try to remove the graphic card and then clean with soft clothe and then insert it again and test.

if same problem encounter, you need to replace the video card, since your pc is virus free.

considering the monitor, you need also to change the or test the monitor but its 10% that this a cause of the symptoms.

most probably the graphic card got faulty.

may this help,

do you still have your restore CD? try to fresh restore it and updates everything on that unit again. Often online gamers send you malicious script that crashes your system.
