This thing is garbage now sorry,can't be fix.The LCD screen viewing panel is damage by force,like dropping the unit or sometings or somebodies hitting it hard on the LCD viewing screen.The LCD viewing screen panel,will cost the same as a new portable DVD player.This LCD viewing screen panel,must be replaced to solved the problems.The whole new portable DVD player only cost like about 50-60 bucks.
i'm not familiar with this brand but try to access" setup menu" from your remote control.
1) from your remote control , locate button indicating "setup" and press it 2) viewing your screen there should be a dialogue box or this display board indicating 'Audio setup" Video setup" etc.... 3)scroll arrow key (up/down key)and go to "video" 4)in "video setup there should be a dialogue box or drop box asking you to select either " Auto" " PAL" or "NTSC" 5) choose auto and see if anything change in your screen.
All blu-ray movies are in Widescreen format. So your tv converts the picture to make it look like letterbox. There will be some movies that will have those little black bars at the bottom. There will be some movies that don't. There is nothing to worry about it is normall.
Make sure you dont have a disk in the tray.
Hit the Pal.ntsv button 2-3 times.
You will get the picture back.
If not, then you also hit the p.scan button.
Hit that button 2-3 times till you get the picture back.
