Samsung transform ultra "charging" while not on charger

I have a samsung transform ultra ive only had it for 3 months . Last night it started to flash back and forth from the home screen to the vharging /mass storage screen . The battery icon shows that it is charging even though my phone is not on the charger . Does anyone know what this problem could be?

Wow! My phone was having the same problem, I found an old toothbrush and blew in the port and what do you know... you stopped flashing and acting like it was possessed. LOL Thank you so much for this simple fix.

SOURCE: my phone doesnt charge

Your phone doesn't charge? or does not hold a charge?

If the battery meter is not running when ur charger is plugged in, it could be a charging port problem or a battery problem. Go to a nearby shop to have someone try another battery & to determine if that is a battery or a phone problem. If it's the battery then buy a new one. if it's the phone, have a Samsung tech repair it for you

Hello,

The problem is a software problem.

All you have to do is to flash the phone with the appropriate software and cable.

The phone will be in good condition again.

Take care

SOURCE: the battery on my samsung

Hello,

How long have you been using this phone?

I think problem is from your phone board. The board might be dusty and need some cleaning. Likewise the charging port.

Remove the battery. After that, get a phone screw driver, unscrew all the phone screws, remove the phone cover in order to gain access to the phone panel. Gently remove/detach the screen from the phone board.

Get a methylated spirit and a soft tooth brush, dip the tooth brush into the spirit and use the brush to clean the phone board. Wash/brush every part of the board with the spirit.

After that, dry the board under an electric bulb or under sunlight. Allow it to dry very well. Let the board get hot. Then leave the board for 5mins or more to cool.

Couple back the phone. Charge the battery and observe it again.

If problem persist, please let me know for further directions.

Regards.

My Samsung Transform Ultra phone keeps beeping as if I am plugging and unplugging the charger.

Flip the phone over after a charge. Put your fingernail into the little slot at the top center of the battery cover along the edge, and give a little twist. The batter over door will snap open a little. Grab it and remove it gently, and pull the battery out of the Transform. Count to ten, then put the battery back into the phone. Once the phone boots, the noise should be gone.

If this fixes your problem, you may have to repeat this process every time you take the device off the charger. If this does NOT fix the problem, then it is a short in your phone's MicroUSB connector that is causing the incessant beeping, and your phone will require either repair by Samsung (Boost Customer Service can give you the number), or replacement by you, with another phone of your choosing.

If you DO decide to repair or replace the phone, make sure to back up all of your data, photos, movies, notes and applications before you surrender the phone to anyone for repair or replacement. Every repair facility WILL do a factory data reset on your device before beginning to repair it, and the phone will come back to you in "new-in-box" condition, post-repair - with NONE of your info on it. Best way to back it up is to hit the Google Play store, and search "backup" - there are MANY online backup services from which to choose, and you can easily find one that will meet your needs and budget.

Good luck!

Hello, The green battery lights seem to go out rather quickly, and then the speed LED's flash on/off and the chair slows way down. After recharging it fully last night, the speed lights started flashing...

It sounds like a battery problem more than anything. If it were a fuse, the chair would not move at all. When batteries are stored, they need to be kept charged by charging every couple of week or so (ideally). There may be other problems causing this, such as a short somewhere or a problem with one of the motors/brakes/electronic componets draining the batteries, but I feel this is unlikely given what you have described. I would have the batteries checked at a dealer with a proper battery tester. Preferably have the charger checked at the same time. We use a specific battery/charger tester in our shop that is connected to a computer and will give a graph of the battery/charger condition. This way there is no arguments as to whether the batteries or charger is faulty. Hope this has helped.

Had new batteries and a service 6 months ago. Has now been left standing for a couple of months. I charged it up last night, but nothing. The charger appears to be working, lights working. Any ideas

Yes your batteries have dropped below 9 vlt each and they wont chage using your charger. Yuo must take a car battery charger and charge each battery up to at least 11vlts for your charger to charge! This ought to work if batteries have only been sitting a couple of mths . When using a car charger set charge at 6-10 amps for about 45mins to 1hr then hook up chair charger and you should be ok
