Make sure both convergence output IC's get replaced. After replacement convergence adjustments may need to be done. These can be pretty hairy, so don't try the repair yourself.

Bad convergence chip. A tech will need to fix or replace. No easy fixes are available.

you have lost the convergence IC`s in your set, this really isn`t a diy repair unless you are very proficient in un-soldering and re-soldering components, once replaced there will be an alignment procedure as well that will require the service manual also, if you have more questions feel free to ask away, video-tek
