I recieved the following error massage if I try restoring my LapTop %1 is not a valid win32 application problem windows vista

If it comes up while restoring, for rstui.exe(restore utility), it may be due to a virus infection. Scand your system and see. Run this utility in safemode. To go to safe mode, Reboot the machine and press F8 before the Windows Boot screen appear. Then go to safemode.
Do system restore from there. If the utility is corrupted what you have to do is copy rstrui.exe from another computer, paste it to system32 folder.
Copy it from an exactly similar OS version.
If you have problems, go to device manager and go to event viewer
and check the categories, System and Applications for related errors.
To get to devuce manager, Rclick on My Computer Icon and Selact Manage.
If this solution helps you plase kindly rate this answer.
Good Luck.

Hard disk drives are not opening

I think that you didnt get rid of the virus yet.
Rerun your antivirus in safe mode , also run spybot and adaware in safe mode too.
