All of a sudden, my t.v. will not turn on, whether attempting to turn it on manually, or by remote. I checked to see that it is plugged in, and all the other hardwares plugged into that particular outlet are functioning properly. It makes no noise when attempting to turn it on, it gives nothing. Just a cold black screen. :( This set is under a year old. I would hope that it has not reached it's end already.
Chances are there is a problem in the power supply ,or other circuit eg:microprocessor, horizontal.i think u should have it check by a qualified technician.its a technical problem and shouid not be taken lightly.
One of the best solution if you are bold enough is to open the case and try to see if the fuse has blown. This is located in the power supply section. Usually you can see this in glass cartridge type. try to see if there is continuity. If none then have it replaced with the correct size, rating and type. However if it proves ok, then the problem might be on the high voltage section which requires someone technical assistance.

It's much more likely to be the antenna. How old is the TV? Check whether the antenna connection is loose. Check whether the antenna cabling is all connected. Did anything change just before the TV stopped working, like someone doing work outside? If you're receiving cable TV check the connections to and from the cable box.
Check its horizontal output section circuit, and replace damaged component/s. Contact any service technician. Products powered by electricity
should be serviced or repaired only by experienced professional technicians.
Any attempt to service or repair the product by anyone else could result in
serious injury or death. If
you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock. Instead, contact
the nearest service centre.
Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player. Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks/sockets/Cable. Look for jammed buttons on remote and/or on control panel. Try removing the batteries from remote and operating from the control panel of TV. If these are ok, Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.
Just check whether the mute button on remote is jammed. Then if that is ok, check whether you can listen to the sound on a Head Phone connected to the TV. Even if it works, the TV needs attention by a qualified service technician.
Do you have any lights if you do not it's probably your power supply if you do it could be your power supply, signal board, t-con board, backlight inverters. In any case the power supply is te most likelly cause.
your turning section is not responding to any input, hence needs to be checked by a technician. every thing you have mentioned are controlled by one ic, with its respective voltages.
Since you said that the remote that originally came with the television does not work either, it's most likely a problem with the IR sensor in your television.
To make sure that something more important with the television did not fail, the next time this occurs, walk up to the television and attempt to manually change the options using its controls.
take your tv to technician who can check your power supply, if your power is coming on and off, than a problem is not as big. firstly let him check a ht of a supply constantly, your supply is cutting.
