Question about Denon AVR-681 Receiver
Hi My avr 681 Powers on stays on for about 5 secons and then powers off . is there a reset or somthing i can do or is it junkyard bound
There is a bad resistor that causes the unit to go into standby. For once, I actually bought an extended warranty from Sears who wound up taking the unit back FOUR times to replace the faulty resistor. The last time, I actually researched the problem myself and informed the repair shop that they need to upgrade the component to a higher voltage component - this actually fixed the problem for longer, but not much longer. I would trash it.
